Johnny Depp Speaks About Pirates Of The Caribbean Rumors

Johnny Depp has responded to rumors that he will return to the Pirates of the Caribbean Franchise after reports suggest he could make amends with Disney.

Depp starred in the Pirates’ first five films as captain Jack Sparrow, but was not expected to return for the sixth installment to be played.

On Monday, June 27, a report from PopTopic quoted a source as saying Disney ‘had a strong interest in repairing their relationship with Johnny Depp’.

The report states that Disney was preparing Depp for a $ 301 million contract agreement, using it as a ‘legal apology’ and a way to bring him back to the franchise. The source also said that Disney reached out to Depp and asked him if he would like to return before he started his defamation suit against his ex-wife Amber Heard.

“I know the company sent him a gift basket with a heartfelt letter, but I’m not sure how it was received. But I can tell you that the studio has written a film about Jack Sparrow – so they have high hopes that Johnny will forgive them and come back as his famous character,” they told the letter. .

The question of whether Depp will return to the Pirates of the Caribbean is one that was raised in the case, when Depp confirmed that he would reject Disney even if they came to him with ‘$ 300 million and one million alpaca’.

Yesterday’s report may have led many fans to believe that there may be some hope right now, but it looks like they may have to rely on the clock again to see Depp acting as a sarcastic captain, as Depp’s representative shut down rumors.

In a statement to NBC News, per E! Online, a representative for the actor said:

“This is made up.”

Depp discussed his relationship with Disney in court and suggested that the company ‘sever the relationship’ with him in order to ‘be safe’ as he faces allegations of being a ‘female striker’.
“It had been two years since the international debate that I was the woman … The #MeToo organization was very popular at the time,” she said.

The actor noted that Disney did not remove Captain Jack’s character completely, but suggested he did not want to be associated with her in the future, saying: “They did not remove my character from the ride. Let me stop selling Captain Jack Sparrow dolls.

Depp’s final Pirates of the Caribbean film, Salazar’s Revenge, was released in 2017
