Machine Gun Kelly revealed how he once put a gun to his mouth when he phoned his girlfriend Megan Fox – admitting he just ‘snatched it’.

During the film, the 32-year-old describes one of his lowest moments, which took place back in July 2020.

According to Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, the death of his father at the time – who died celebrating one year after releasing his previous album, put him in the dark.

“I never left my room and it started to get really dark. Megan went to Bulgaria to shoot a movie and I started to really find this wild paranoia. Like, I was always angry that someone was going to kill me, ”Kelly recalled.

He adds that he often slept with a gun next to his bed and ‘just broke out’ that day.

“I called Megan. I would say, ‘You didn’t come to me.’ I was in my room and, like, I was mad at her. Dude, I got a gun in my mouth.

“And I shout on the phone and like a barrel in my mouth. And I go and cry for a gun and a bullet, as it comes back up, the shell is just tied up. Megan looks like a dead man silent.”

Life in Pink also highlights the important role Fox has played in the life of the artist since then.

Kelly brilliantly explains how the Transformers star ‘became a sun’ for him, helping him to develop and grow. In January 2022 the couple got engaged in Puerto Rico, and released a video of the proposal shortly thereafter on social media.

“That’s what helps me to write those songs. ‘Because it’s just like all the myths they never told you in school …

The rocker has been open about working on his substance abuse struggle and mental health issues, saying in 2020: “Currently, my drug of choice is happiness and commitment to the art, rather than commitment to a vice that I believed made the art. I’m taking steps.”
