The majority of Americans don’t want either Joe Biden or Donald Trump to run for President in 2024, according to a staggering new poll.

The poll was carried out by Yahoo! News in conjunction with market research and data analytics firm YouGov.

Surveying 1,541 people between June 10 and June 13, an astounding 64 per cent of Americans answered ‘No’ when questioned whether Biden should run for President again in 2024.

A mere 21 per cent believed the current US President should have another term, while 15 per cent said they were unsure.

Although Trump may be seen as avoiding this as a success in his presidential campaign, if he were allowed to run, unfortunately for him his numbers would not have been much better.

Fifty-five percent of voters believe that the 76-year-old student should leave the 2024 election campaign, 31% say he or she should run and 14 percent are uncertain.

In a shocking revelation of the results, two-fifths of those who voted for Biden in 2020 said they would not vote for him again.

Trump’s grip on Republican voters remains strong as the majority of 58 percent say they want Trump to run for re-election, with a third of those asked about re-election.

Unfortunately the current President, if elections were to be held at this time, could fall slightly to Trump with 39 percent of the vote compared to Trump’s 42 percent.

Voting is held in the middle of the United States facing the highest inflation rate in more than 40 years, as many Americans struggle to keep up with the cost of living.

Trump has also been under investigation since the start of the uprising on January 6, which he called ‘one-sided witch hunt’, according to The Guardian.
The trial is open to the public and focuses on Trump and his role in the unrest – which led to allegations that the attack was an attempt to overthrow the government.

There have been allegations that Trump harassed Deputy President Mike Pence to overturn the results of the 2020 elections, which he has denied.

Speaking at a religious conference in Nashville, Tennessee, he focused on the forums of the committee that was investigating him.

He said to Majority of Americans : “There is no clear example of the threatening spirit that has devoured the rest of America as a disgraceful game played by an ‘unelected’ committee.

“They are corrupt. They are cunning. They all hate the left, they all hate you, they hate me even more, but I try to help you. ”
